Week 26

So this past week little C experienced solid food for the first time. I have been noticing her watching all of us as we eat so I thought it was time to try it out!

I think she was a bit confused as to why we had all gathered around her and why she wasn't getting her normal morning feeding from mama. She was so fun to watch!

Little C was not quite sure about the solid food. There was a lot of putting it in and a lot of C spitting it back out! The looks on her face were priceless!

She was not a huge fan of her oatmeal but by the end of the week she was doing better with it. None of my babies have loved solid food at first but I am sure she will eventually!

We all had fun watching C with her first feeding. She seemed to enjoy the attention and was happy that mommy finally feed her after her first attempt at oatmeal!!

Week 25 (a day late!)

So here is our littlest sweetie pie on Valentine's Day!! This year you got a book called "Where is My Sweetie Pie" which I thought was perfect for you!

This past week you have been so talkative and happy. You have wiggled your body to get toys which has been fun to watch. You still aren't rolling all over, but we are in no hurry for that!!

This week you started sitting up a bit more and finally standing a bit. You can sit but need mommy right there so you don't fall over if you get too excited!

And last but not least you have finally taken a bink!! Ok, it has only taken six month for you to like it but I think it will be worth it. It has already been useful a few times this week when you woke up in the night and I just gave you a bink and turned your music on and you went back to sleep!! I love you tons C and am having so much fun watching you grow!
Love,
Mama

Week 23

This week we have been practicing your rolling over from front to back!

You don't love to be on your tummy so it is no surprise you learned to do this. You sometimes get frustrated with me for putting you on your tummy so you just bury your head out of frustration!!

You are getting better though at holding yourself up and looking around! As long as you can get your arm under yourself you can seem to roll onto your back again!

I had to trow this picture in just to show grandma and grandpa that you do have a neck!!!

Here you are after you finally roll over! You always smile so big when you make it off your tummy! We've had a fun week watching you learn!
