Easter Dresses!

The girls all got new dresses for Easter this year. I always remember getting a new dress for Easter growing up and I look forward to getting the girls new dresses each year as well. I suppose it is partly just fun for me to be able to go get the girls matching dresses! This year M wasn't sure she wanted to match everyone else for Easter. I told her I would do my best not to buy matching dresses. Instead we went the coordinating route! I love all the fun colors and think they all look beautiful!

I love this picture so much! It is typical of my girls. M smiling and looking right at the camera, B hugging on C and not worrying about the camera, and baby C looking at one of her big sisters! They are such cuties!

C wore this pretty pink dress and didn't seemed too phased by the whole event! I think she just enjoyed all the attention that her big sisters were giving her. Of course mama had fun dressing up her little dolly!

M found this dress awhile ago and I went back and bought it for her. Her favorite color is blue so she really likes it. We also got her white shoes and blue shoes to match her dress. She can pick either pair depending on her mood!

Miss B got pink shoes! When we came home and put them on her shoe shelf she told me she could not get any more shoes. When I asked her why she said that her shoe shelf was full so no more shoes would fit. I thought it was so cute...thinking she had to limit her shoes to the size of her shelf in the mud room! I suppose I should run with it...I suppose the excuse will come in handy at some point! She was rather upset that not all the dresses matched exactly. I had to convince her they matched, they just didn't look exactly the same. She still wasn't thrilled that her and her sisters didn't have the same dress.

I just love my beautiful girls. I am so thankful for spring time and the growth and beauty it promises. I sure do love these little beauties in my life and love watching them grow!

Week 32

Little C,
Week 32 of your life was filled with lots of firsts and lots of fun! This week you got to celebrate your first Easter. You loved watching your sisters run around searching for eggs in the morning. You also loved exploring your Easter basket! The Easter Bunny was good to you and brought you "Snow White", a book, and two sets of binkies!

You liked the binkies and had the right idea! You knew they went in your mouth...you just couldn't get the part you wanted!

This week you also played with friends. Well, playing mostly involves you trying to grab other babies faces...but you had fun none the less.

Week thirty two also brought a lot of nice weather and you enjoyed being outside a lot. You continued to enjoy being in your stroller and seeing the world around you.

This view point with daddy really let you see the world around!

This week was busy and you actually fell asleep in your car seat and stayed that way for about thirty minutes once we brought you in the house. It is rare for you to sleep in your car seat and even more rare for you to stay asleep once you get out of the car. I guess you were pretty worn out after a long day of play!

This week we brought out your high chair and you used it for the first time. We put you in it every night and dinner time and you love it! I think you feel like such a big girl being up at everyone's level!

This week you had a lot of fun playing with daddy. You have always been fascinated with daddy's hair and he was kind enough to let you play with it!

You also started using a cup this week. I have offered it to you many times but you have always turned your nose up at it. You have actually figured out how to drink from it...but in general you spit the water out after it gets in your mouth! I think it is still just a fun toy for you!

This week has been busy but you have just gone along with it. Your sisters were out of school on spring break and you have really enjoyed having the continuous entertainment! We love you so much little C and continue to enjoy watching you grow!
Love,
Mama

Week 31

This was C's thirty first week of life. If is just amazing how time can go so quickly. This weekend we had a chance to go outside and play without jackets on! I think C was confused by the whole idea of being outside and not being tucked in her warm winter blanket...but she got used to it. It was also the first time we put her in her stroller without her being in the car seat part. She seemed pretty pleased with herself by sitting up in her stroller!

She loved eating the bar that came right in front of her and also loved watching her sisters run around!

We love you C and are so glad to enjoy this spring with our new little dolly!

Week 30

I can't believe thirty weeks have gone by since you were born! You are such a happy baby and we love you so much!

Lately you have loved playing in your exersaucer. You like all the toys and want to touch and suck everyone!! You love being able to turn yourself around and watch as your silly sisters run all around!

You have been getting up more often at night, which is not fun for mama, although I do enjoy spending the quiet moments with you. The part that is hard is actually getting out of bed! Once that part is over, spending some quiet time with you is fun! You have been talking a lot more lately and will even mimic me when I make certain noises. So glad we have become such good friends over the past thirty weeks!

Week 29

Lately you have been loving your bath time. You especially love the cup and trying to drink something out of it. You have been so much fun this week and have been so happy! I love you tons!

I had to throw this picture in...I just love the feet! The cute smile isn't bad either!!

Your hair has seemed to get a bit lighter lately. I love the little fuzz you have!

Week 28

Baby C is now six month old and just had her doctors visit this past week. She had four shots which she did not like, but once I picked her up she stopped crying. She is 15.8 pounds and is 26 inches. She is in the 25th percentile for weight and 60th for height. She has been my biggest baby so far, which is kind of fun!

C loves her bath and especially loves taking the cup I use to rinse her from me! She often tries to drink out of it, but is met with disappointment! I just love this picture with her cute little feet!

C usually hates being taken out of the bath, but this time she was okay since I let her keep her cup!!

She is such a sweet little dolly...I just love her so much!

These other sweeties love her too! I love clean an fresh little ones!

Shots

Today C had her six month check up which included four shots. She was so happy before the shots but looked so disappointed once she felt the pain of the first shot. So sad to see them in pain. She calmed down pretty quickly after the shots, which helped me feel better.

On the car ride home I asked B is baby was asleep and she said yes. Let me just back up and say the C rarely falls asleep in the car. I know, most babies do, but she does not! I was pretty shocked since we had just barely left the doctors office. When we got home I couldn't resist taking some fun pictures of her asleep. She was so tired that she even stayed asleep after I moved her to her bed.

Once she woke up she was back to her normal smiley self. I guess sleep is magical...not just for mommies!

Spring is Comming!

Today I ventured out with the girls after school since the temperature was above fifty...kind of. (The wind made is a bit cooler, but I will take it over freezing!!) We still have a bit of snow left on the ground, but it seems to be melting pretty quickly. This winter has been pretty mild compared to most, but it is still winter and we are ready for those warmer temps!!

The girls were so excited to pull out their bikes and scooter and ride up and down the street.

B had her Dora bike out and her lady bug purple helmet...two of her favorites! (ladybugs and purple!) She also had her sun glasses on which were not necessary but it is totally B! She would stop periodically to pull the Dora map out of her backpack on the front of her bike and make sure she was going the right direction!

M rode her scooter up and down and had a blast! She was the one to warn us when cars were coming. She eventually started to pretend cars were coming so she could see B hope off her bike and get off the rode. I eventually told B she could just pull to the side of the rode on her bike. M thought it was pretty funny. I guess we all tease at some point!

I think C was in shock to be outside without it being freezing. I assume that she only has memories of the outside being freezing so it was funny to watch her look around. Despite the original shock, I believe she enjoyed her stroll in the stroller up and down the street!

Hopefully these warmer days will keep coming and we will be able to get out and enjoy them!

Week 27

Week 27 has come and gone and you are just getting sweeter all the time. You love your daddy and smile whenever he walks in the room. You will hardly eat when he is around because you just stare at him! You have since you were tiny...I think you are intrigued by all his dark hair!

This week you had your second ear infection. You really hate your medicine and have become really good at spitting it out! Mommy has to choke you to get it down. I did get to rock you to sleep one night when you weren't feeling well, which was really nice for me. I love to cuddle you but for the most part you like to be up so you don't cuddle all that often!

Although you love daddy lets not forget about the one that feeds you! You still love mama and I am so glad you do! I love all my sweet smiles and coos I get from you every day! Love you little C!
