Week 39

This week, today actually, you are nine months old! How time has flown these past nine months. You are not yet crawling but you seem to figure to move to where you want! I left you to play with a bin of toys the other day and came back to find that you had somehow gotten to the whole bin of toys to play with a shoe! I guess you could say I was proud that you picked a shoe over all other toys! I am sure it won't be long until you are moving all over the place. I guess the question is more how you will choose to move!!!

You are so loved little C and we are so happy you are part of our family!

Week 38

Could C get any cuter...I don't think so! I suppose I thought the same thing last week and this week I am sure she has gotten cuter!! She has also started to show interest in crawling! She has the arms down but still refuses to be on the belly to get the feet down! I think a bum scooter she will be...but she may prove me wrong!

Week 37

This week was so busy! We had a school play, soccer, gymnastics, play dates among all our other activities. Little C got dragged along to all of it, but seemed to have fun! She kept herself occupied with whatever was at hand!

Week 36

Dear C,

Another fun week with you has gone by! You are growing so quickly and loving life. This week we had beautiful weather so we introduced you to the swing. At first you were unsure of the swing, but have since grown to love it! You sometimes become worried with the first push, but the worry usually turns to a big smile pretty quickly!

This past week, on May 5th, you got your second tooth! As you get new teeth you seem to be expanding the number of foods you will eat. You now like sweet potatoes, oatmeal, broccoli, bananas, pears, graham crackers, and corn bread! I try and give you lots of tastes of what I am eating too...aren't I a nice mom!

You also started trying to pick up foods with your fingers. Up until this point it has been a whole hand of food shoved into your mouth. Now you delicately try to pick up your food with just two fingers! Very entertaining to watch!

You are also still loving your feet. I suppose I don't blame you...who wouldn't love your cute little baby feet! Love you tons C!

Week 35

Week thirty five has come and gone quickly. With it brought warm weather. I think you were confused being taken out in so little clothing, but you got used to it!

And I had to throw this picture of you grabbing your foot in. You are constantly grabbing your feet. It almost seems like a security thing for you! It is especially sweet when you are nursing! I love you dolly!

New Twinkle Toes!!

M has been talking about getting a pair of Twinkle Toe Sketchers for almost a year now. We bought a pair before school started but they didn't fit well so she sadly agreed to take them back! B has since also decided she wants her own pair of Twinkle Toes, just like her big sister!! The other day B and I were out looking for a new pair of shoes for her when we found these Twinkle Toe shoes, that have flowers and peace signs on them and the LIGHT UP!!! Now, usually I don't allow light up shoes, because they usually come on ugly sneakers (at least in my humble opinion!!)


When we saw these shoes I just had to get them for M. She is totally into peace signs and I knew she would love them! We had another pair of shoes picked out for B, but after seeing the light up Twinkle Toes, she wanted the same pair! We had to go to a different store to find her size, which they had one last pair left! The girls both love their new shoes and I think they are pretty fun as well! There are a few lights on the toe of the shoe and the center of the flower lights up!! M wore them for a hip hop class she took and looked totally cute lighting up the room!

I'm so glad my girls finally got the shoes they have been wanting for so long! So fun to shop for my little sweeties! I love them so much and love how B wants to be just like her big sister! Sisters are so much fun!

Week 34

Week thirty four brought our little C a new tooth!! None of her sisters have had teeth until 14 months, so she is quite the over achiever for our family!! I noticed her first tooth pop through on the 23rd of April. We'll see how quickly it grows in. I had no idea she was even teething. No crying, drooling, or sleepless nights. I just love this girl.

I love this first picture. C has always sucked in her bottom lip and sucked on it. This picture just reminds me of all those times I look over and she is missing a bottom lip!! We sure love having her in our family!

Week 33

Week 33 has brought us the mohawk!!! I love little babies with mohawks and am now able to do it on you. Your hair seems to be growing a bit which is fun! I do love the little bald head though...so cute on a chubby little baby!!

Lately when I go to take a picture of you, you make silly little faces at me. You purse your lips and squint your eyes...kind of like you are teasing me. I think we are starting to see the beginnings of your fun personality. Daddy thinks it is because I am blinding you with the flash on the camera but Mama thinks it is because you are having fun! Love you C!

Easter Dresses!

The girls all got new dresses for Easter this year. I always remember getting a new dress for Easter growing up and I look forward to getting the girls new dresses each year as well. I suppose it is partly just fun for me to be able to go get the girls matching dresses! This year M wasn't sure she wanted to match everyone else for Easter. I told her I would do my best not to buy matching dresses. Instead we went the coordinating route! I love all the fun colors and think they all look beautiful!

I love this picture so much! It is typical of my girls. M smiling and looking right at the camera, B hugging on C and not worrying about the camera, and baby C looking at one of her big sisters! They are such cuties!

C wore this pretty pink dress and didn't seemed too phased by the whole event! I think she just enjoyed all the attention that her big sisters were giving her. Of course mama had fun dressing up her little dolly!

M found this dress awhile ago and I went back and bought it for her. Her favorite color is blue so she really likes it. We also got her white shoes and blue shoes to match her dress. She can pick either pair depending on her mood!

Miss B got pink shoes! When we came home and put them on her shoe shelf she told me she could not get any more shoes. When I asked her why she said that her shoe shelf was full so no more shoes would fit. I thought it was so cute...thinking she had to limit her shoes to the size of her shelf in the mud room! I suppose I should run with it...I suppose the excuse will come in handy at some point! She was rather upset that not all the dresses matched exactly. I had to convince her they matched, they just didn't look exactly the same. She still wasn't thrilled that her and her sisters didn't have the same dress.

I just love my beautiful girls. I am so thankful for spring time and the growth and beauty it promises. I sure do love these little beauties in my life and love watching them grow!

Week 32

Little C,
Week 32 of your life was filled with lots of firsts and lots of fun! This week you got to celebrate your first Easter. You loved watching your sisters run around searching for eggs in the morning. You also loved exploring your Easter basket! The Easter Bunny was good to you and brought you "Snow White", a book, and two sets of binkies!











You liked the binkies and had the right idea! You knew they went in your mouth...you just couldn't get the part you wanted!

This week you also played with friends. Well, playing mostly involves you trying to grab other babies faces...but you had fun none the less.

Week thirty two also brought a lot of nice weather and you enjoyed being outside a lot. You continued to enjoy being in your stroller and seeing the world around you.

This view point with daddy really let you see the world around!

This week was busy and you actually fell asleep in your car seat and stayed that way for about thirty minutes once we brought you in the house. It is rare for you to sleep in your car seat and even more rare for you to stay asleep once you get out of the car. I guess you were pretty worn out after a long day of play!

This week we brought out your high chair and you used it for the first time. We put you in it every night and dinner time and you love it! I think you feel like such a big girl being up at everyone's level!

This week you had a lot of fun playing with daddy. You have always been fascinated with daddy's hair and he was kind enough to let you play with it!

You also started using a cup this week. I have offered it to you many times but you have always turned your nose up at it. You have actually figured out how to drink from it...but in general you spit the water out after it gets in your mouth! I think it is still just a fun toy for you!



This week has been busy but you have just gone along with it. Your sisters were out of school on spring break and you have really enjoyed having the continuous entertainment! We love you so much little C and continue to enjoy watching you grow!
