Today we all went to the ward building to watch the first session of general conference. After it was done we came home for lunch and I was going to stay home with the girls and give B a nap. As R got ready to leave he told M to be a good girl for mommy since he was going back to church. M asked why and he said to go to another session of conference. M asked if it was just for boys and R said no. She wanted to know why she wasn't going if it was for everyone. We asked her if she wanted to go and she said yes. We all packed up quickly and headed back to the church. I'm thankful for a little girl who wants to do what's right at such a young age. I was tired but grateful to hear the second session of conference. Thanks for leading me M!

Wow...she wanted EXTRA conference. Our kids were like, "WHAT!? There's another one!"
like mother like daughter. you were the only one of us who ever wanted to go to more than the requisite sunday morning session when we were little kids.
i'm glad you didn't just ignore her. you're a good mama. i may have just brushed it off, explaining that B needed a nap.
So cute. Treston and Aiden were so excited to see President Hinckley.. so they got up on Saturday morning around 7:15 and came down. Right away Treston spotted him... He just smiled so big. Then he turned to Stephen and said, "Dad, look at his ears, they are big!" I laughed and then was just so happy that Treston recognized him and really concentrated on listening to him. What a wonderful blessing kids are!
